Community Bank

The Bank Board of Trustees commissioned Morpurgo Architects to design their headquarters at Saddle River’s most visible and highly traveled intersection. Drawing on the Borough’s interesting 19th Century industrial past, Morpurgo Architects interpreted the architecture of the early Dutch settlers in a contemporary expression that weaves the Bank’s 21st century requirements into the fabric of Saddle River’s historic downtown.

The proposed Dutch Colonial building is oriented to maximize visibility of the Bank by motorists entering the Borough’s business district. The principal façade features a large arch-topped window that frames the functions and activities of the Banking floor.
